Miss Betty has been a successful dance and gymnastic instructor in the Lynn area for many years. She started teaching dance classes while still in high school. After attending Salem State College she realized that her heart was still in the studio and decided to make her career there. She was the Artistic Director of Dolly's Dance & Gymnastics for many years before deciding to open Studio B.
Through the years she has had several different generations of quite a few families pass through her classes. It’s always so rewarding for her to welcome those familiar faces as well as some new ones, into class each year.
Miss Betty believes that year brings something new and exciting to her work. There is a constant flow of new dance styles and music to work with. Her classes always have something fun to look forward to.
If you're looking for a teacher with loads of experience look no further! Lisa has been teaching dance and gymnastics for the last 33 years. In that time she went to college to become a certified elementary and special education teacher, too. As if being an elementary teacher in the Lynn school system for 20 years just wasn't enough, in her spare time she got her masters in education. In the summer when Lisa's not busy teaching she also works as Assistant Director at Camp Rotary.
By combining her love of teaching children with her love of dance Lisa has the best of both worlds, and the positive effect she has on her students is truly amazing.
Lisa is also the mother of two teenage daughters, Estrella and Juliana.
